BIS + GMail = question...

I have my gmail account hooked up through BIS, works like a charm.

Has a quirk, though, in so far as whenever I send an email from my Blackberry I recieve the message from myself, like it is downloading the message out of my gmail sent box.

so on my blackberry, in the messages app, i have two copies of my sent messages, one being the actual message I composed, the other being a copy that gmail forwards me through BIS.

is there a way to stop this?

it's almost like my blackberry is sending the message to my gmail account, and then gmail sends it off to the recipient, so i recieve a copy that my blackberry sends to gmail, as well as the actual composed copy.

I also have the gmail app, and in this app, it shows the recieved copy of the message i sent from my blackberry. if i compose an email from the gmail app, I do not recieve this redundant copy.

I wondered the same thing at first aswell. Log into your BIS account with your service provider and set up a filter so that whenever the FROM feild has your e-mail it will not send it to your phone.
