Disabling 'sent from my blackberry' on Rogers net

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Just got my 8800, on Rogers net. I'd like to get rid of the signature, which can't be done from the settings (seems to be hard-coded, there's no text entry field). On other forums the hint is to go to this webpage and log in:
https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=rogers

The issue is when I try to create an account using my PIN and IMEI, it tells me I cannot access this account from the web, I have to access it from my handheld. If that's the case what am I doing wrong?

Has anyone successfully changed their signature on Rogers?

Well i have Tmobile and i found that if you log onto Tmobile.com or in your case maybe Rogers.com and log into your account, and there should be a link for configuring email, go into there and there you should see the sig. hope this helps.

Yup, if you log in here and click "edit" beside the email account you'll see a section that says "Signature." Just remove the sig. Hope that helps!

Okay, I just re-read your post. You have already configured an @rogers.blackberry.net email address and set your Blackberry up to receive mail, right? If that's the case you would already have an account and don't need to create one. Just go to the Rogers BIS website and log in.

Do you already have a BIS account? If you added your email address or changed account settings from your device, it's in "single sign on/automatic login" mode and you'll need to create a username and password to be able to access them from a computer.

There's a link to do so from the "Email Settings" application on your device.

If you're trying to log onto rogers.com/bis and getting a message along the lines of: Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your device to access BlackBerry Internet Service then go to the Email Setup application on your BlackBerry. Somewhere in the Email Setup application on your 8130 there is an option to set a username and password. You will see that any changes you've made to your email settings has to be authenticated using the passwords from the email address that you have already set up via your BlackBerry.

Once you successfully set a username and password you should be able to make changes to your email accounts via the BlackBerry or the Rogers BIS site from your computer. (When you go to the Rogers BIS site from your computer simply sign in with the username and password you created on your BlackBerry)
