This is a general Windows mobile question and can pertain to more than the BJ2, however, I backed up my Black BJ2 completely using Sprint backup and am getting a red one to replace it tonight and am going to do a full restore VIA the executable that Sprint Backup creates.

I understand that probably 90% will be fine, however when it syncs for the first time using Vista Device Manager, I am assuming I will need to create a new profile? It wont create multiple copies of everything will it? Will it realize the contacts/calendar are the same on both devices and leave them alone?

Also, anyone ever do this with Splashphoto? Splashphoto uses a device ID I believe to sync photos. I am assuming I will probably also need to manipulate this?

Audible books should be OK once I activate the new device I would think.

Everything else, including games, standadr applications, etc should be OK.

Anyone ever run in to any issues with this between WM smartphones?
