Windows 6 upgrade but BEFORE I do this...

Team, I have the T-MO DASH and I would like to update from Windows 5 to Windows 6. Before I do this, I currently use my DASH to tether my laptop for Internet access. With the W6 upgrade, (as long as I save the proxy settings) can this still be done? Im currently on the BB plan for $19.99, will this effect the upgrade? Better yet, can I jump on the $5.99 and still have this access? thanks in advance to all!

not sure about the tethering but that quote at the end is great lol.. tho on a side note, i'm not positive but i would think you can still tether

I have WinMo 6 on my Touch and using PDANet to tether, works flawlessly, no overages. Well I am not on Tmo so there might be a difference but I am willing to bet you will be fine.

The way I understand it, the upgrade to W6, everything will be "wiped out" and will start fresh, kinda' like a re-image of the entire phone. Ever since the "OperaMini" installation, I cant use regular IE, and some sites I cannot download or access correctly with OperaMini. Just want to start new, but Internet access and tethering is extremely important for me.....
