Hi,
I see in the UK there's a website that allows the tracking of a cellphone's position by triangulation between towers, is there anyway of finding the position of a Canadian phone at all? The phone isn't GPS equipped so would have to be found using the less accurate method above, any websites, companies that can do this at all?
Thanks
LD

It's total nonsense. The ability to track a phone is:
1. Something the company does for the police when requested.
2. A service the customer pays the company to provide so he/she can follow employees, children, etc. It's far too valuable a service to give away. There are serious privacy issues and carriers would not allow anyone else to track your location without good cause.

Thanks, I didn't expect it to be free, I just wondered if there was a way to track a phone that wasn't on O2, Vodafone etc but on any network? North America included.
