Still no way to send contacts over bluetooth? 3rd party apps? Rumors from Apple?

I know the bluetooth stack on the iPhone is pretty limited. I was just wondering if there was still no way to send my contact list (as a whole or individually) over bluetooth? Thought there might be a 3rd party solution now, or it there was any type of confirmed comment from apple to add additional bluetooth functions in the near future.

I really want to hook my phone up though my Pioneer AVIC-D3's Bluetooth function, but without the ability to send my contacts to the unit it is fairly limited in that way.

Uh, no.

And there won't be a 3rd-party solution, either.

The iPhone ONLY supports the Bluetooth headset profile, period. Nothing else. Apple does not want it opened up, as that opens the possibility of people transferring music over BT, among other things.

In short, don't expect Apple to do much with Bluetooth. Heck, the iPhone doesn't even have voice dialing over Bluetooth.

This has been asked and answered several hundred times.

You need to be able to sync your existing phone (VZW Chocolate) with Outlook, which will then put the contacts on your PC. Then you sync your iPhone with your PC, which puts them on your iPhone.
