Palm Treo 750 BT Question

When I go to my MP3's and try to send one to someone else's phone, it will not allow it to send via Bluetooth. It only gives me the option to send via Beam or E-Mail. Is that just something I'm doing wrong or it that the way the phone is set up? Any way to do it?
