Basically, you can't, not without installing some low-level system stuff. Sufficient to say, you can tell from what firmware you have, and what week your iPhone was made. 1.1.1 all had 3.9; 1.1.2 has 4.6.

If you click the link I posted you will see it is very easy to check your bootloader.

Ok The week of production is 44 and firmware is 1.1.2 and my current service provider is AT&T and I don't want to upgrade my service plan with AT&T for higher price
also I have old AT&T sim card and I want to use same sim card in my iphone .Recently I down grade my firmware to 1.1.1 and jailbreak it but any sim software unable to unlock my Iphone can some one help me out .

If you are on AT&T you don't need to unlock.

You said you already have it jailbroken, so just put your SIM in it and start using it.

I'm quite familar with UnlockThatiPhone.com; however, that doesn't "check your Bootloader", that just lets you guess what it is based on your firmware. Not the same. You can actually query the Bootloader version, but not without going through several steps and installing low-level system stuff.

I am not talking about using that site, that is just the where the instructions are.

i am talking about reading it off your phone.

Settings>general>about>modem firmware:

I already did that but it say not a incorrect sim ( This phone must be used with an approved sim) and if i try to use new sim then at&t told me to upgrade the service.

Uh, that doesn't tell you your Bootloader, that tells you your Modem Firmware. Not the same thing. You can upgrade or downgrade the modem firmware, but that doesn't touch the Bootloader.

The only way to definitely tell what bootloader you have is to query it directly. Using the modem firmware is a reasonably accurate guess, however.
