After you put in your USIM, and load up, the phone doesnt show any opreater logo, and of course, just like the good old days of 903sh, it has the re-provisioning issues. In terms of the 3G only issues, for people in Hong Kong, CSL works. Desipte whatever the plan your running on, as long as the opreater gives you a USIM AND has 3G service...you can still run on your regular NON 3G plan. so bascially, as long as your operator has 3G signal, it will work. For people who is running cingular...sorry fella's..i just try mine...it doesn't work at all, even it roams on networks that has 3G, it still doesn't connect to it. So i suppose, if you have a USIM..you might get away.. but i cannot confirm that myself as i doubt cingular offers USIM in any state... |

Looks like China is also out of luck in using this phone because "China Mobile" use a different 3G standard (i.e. TD-SCDMA) whereas this phone is using WCDMA 2100MHz. Correct me if i'm wrong. Ohhhhh i'm so lucky to live in a country that use the same 3G standard as Softbank's 3G standard . |

Oh, and it uses microSD. |

Got it software unlocked and just put my SIM card in and fantastic reception from the start. Just figured out Beatjam and got it to work perfectly with album art and all, the best part is that my headset from my Sharp 770 works perfectly with the 911T. I was just wondering how amazing this would be to use in Japan with all the extra applications to use, quite afew apps on this are Japan only but there are plenty of other things here to keep you busy.I know this mobile is old now but was just too excited about it to keep it to myself. If anyone has any questions please ask. Cheers, LL- |

Tried three USIM: my swedish Tele2, a UK O2 and a UK Orange. It just shows "Out"=out of range
Was assured by the seller that it was tested, and sure enough in the call list there is an incoming call presumably from their test.|

Has anyone else used one in Sweden? I know the networks ought to be compatible since I used my Swedish phone with a Softbank SIM in Japan and that worked fine |

Instead are you sure that Tele2 in your area have propretary WCDMA signal? Sorry in advance for banality....but sometimes ![]() |

I'll pick up a prepaid 3 card and try that out, should work fine.
