I was waiting for my wife to finish up some shopping at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall and decided to fire up my laptop and check my email.

After checking my email, I ran a speed test, first on speakeasy and was shocked to see 2.2Mbps down, I then ran a speed test on speedtest.com and was ever more surprised to see 2.4Mbps down.

It looks as if S.Florida is starting to see increased speeds.

HSDPA 3.6Mbps Down has now spread to Boca Raton, FL.

Not to hijack the thread, but is there ways to get that latency lower? Sprint for example you can change your home agent to a closer one.

wow first report i've seen of 3.6!! awesome now lets just have that spread to all 3G cell sites and we are in business.

I had a hunch that S. FL might be one of the first places to see HSDPA 3.6Mbps.

Currently working in Tampa and still at 1.8Mbps but I can confirm that some if not all of Palm Beach County has been upgraded to 3.6Mbps. Whether it is officially light up or just in the testing phases I am not sure but speed test after speed test indicates that the area has been upgraded.

when will 3g be in the Englewood, Florida area.
I called at&t and couldn't get a answer.
Is the a rollout plan and tentitive dates?
