htc hermes and h700 headset problems?

hi i am using a htc hermes (8525) on the aT&t network with wm6 (the official wm6 release) i just got back my motorola h700 headset and it connects but whenever i try to rapid connect to answer the phone it doesn't work and then the headset doesn't want to connect anymore it works and conects fine when i connect and then call out or if i have it connected and then answer the phone manually but not when i use rapid connect is anybody else having this problem? my headset worked fine with my phone when it was wm5 and it rapid connected but now since my update it doesn't work... does anybody know what could be the problem? thanks
