Poor tilt build quality?

Anyone else noting the TILT's build quality seems a little poor. Granted, it feels solid, but at this point in time, the screen appears to slide about 3 or 4 mm past the keyboard section leaving a nice little lip.
And the D-Pad console is now lose, shifting around by about a 1 or 2mm.
Or did I just get a dud.....
I did a cursory search and found nothing.

Been through a few, noticed the same thing. Not a fan of HTC after the 8525 and the Tilt.
Note..the Dpad is supposed to move a little bit, the buttons are just "floating" there, held down by the face plate. Probably a poor choice of design for this caliber of a device though as they feel cheap..and mine crackle a bit when touched lightly. Actually the entirety of my present Tilt crackles and creaks a bit like a low end Sony Ericsson. Good stuff.

Daytona Beach, FL? He(or she) is near me! Nice to find someone here from my neck of the woods. Anyway, I'm hearing bad things about the Tilt which sucks because I want to buy one because of it's specs but I may have to look elsewhere now. Maybe I should consider a Touch Dual or maybe just settle for an 8525

I don't know what u guys are talking about but tilt is solid as hell. the only thing I notice is the loose d-pad, but that's not a big deal. other than that its the most solid phone I've had.

Mine is about a month old with no problems so far. Everything seems to fit and work like it should.
