Replacement Tilt with bad Bluetooth?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I had a Tilt for about a month, then it died. Just went dark. Took it back to AT&T store and they replaced it. But now my Bluetooth headset, which worked just fine on my original Tilt, does not work at all. When I try to connect the two devices, I get "no devices found."

Do you think there's a setting I'm missing somewhere, or did I get another bum Tilt? Bluetooth is on...

Any idea? Thanks.

On my bluetooth headset, I have to re-set to factory condition before I can pair to a new phone. So for the Sony DS970, from off position, you press and hold the power button for 5-10 sec's until you see the pairing icon - then quickly add new device.

Also make sure on your phone when you turn on BT, that you make it discoverable,

My brother had issues with his BT as well. Took his back. I'd wait for them to upgrade the hardware on this one or keep exchanging until you get a good one. Great phone, but issues with BT are critical.

scharnet, you rock!

Resetting the bluetooth headphone did it! Thanks so much. You saved me the trouble of returning the Tilt or, worse yet, calling AT&T tech support.

Thanks.
