I tried to install and it seems like it does, because it shows up in the uninstall side of it. During the install i got a message to "please add /opt/iphone/bim to your $ path" umm How do i do this? I dont have itunes Nor do i want it i have just been toying around with perl @work so want to give it a shot. can it be doen through a terminal app?

That is referring to accessing your phones file system via ssh, and creating that folder. You just need cyber duck (MAC) or WinSCP (PC).
