what should i do about my warrenty replacment iphone??

well my phone took a dump today so apple gave me a new refurbished one, its got week 47 acording to the serial number and it has 1.1.2, so now my question is what should i do about it?
1. sell it privatly and try and find a used unlocked one
2. just hold it til its unlockable
3. jailbrake it and buy a stealth sim
this really blows, is there any way to tell what bootloader it has? when i turn it on i get just the icons menu, not the activate menu.
is there a possiblilty that its just got updated firmware and they left the bootloader alone?

Same boat as me. Just got my refurbished 1.1.2 week 47 iPhone. It has baseband 4.6 on it. No dice here...........

well i sold it. now i just gotta find an older iphone, or one thats unlocked already
