I downloaded OK to prep when I was using 1.1.1 and tried to up date to 1.1.2 and got an error when it was installing the firmware. So it restored it self and automatically updated the phone to 1.1.2.

So how can I jailbreak my phone now?

Thanks a lot

if conceited software jailbreak fails on 1.1.2 then oktoprep was whacked, so you need to restore to 1.1.1, oktoprep, and upgrade again

When I try to revert back to 1.1.1 after it installs I get the errors 1015, thats expected but I cant find a program to kick it out of that mode.

I am using windows and I tunes 7.5. I know im a n00b but what can i use to fix this?

Both AppTappInstaller.exe and wiNstaller (click on activate) should kick it out of the restore screen. in AppTappInstaller.exe, select 1.0.2 and wait a few seconds. The actual process should fail, but your phone should be back to the activation/connect to itunes screen. In wiNstaller, click 'activate'.

Alrighty, I reverted back to 1.1.1 but the baseband is still 04.02.13_G which I think is normal.

I reverted and installed apptap, and then ok to prep. Then I installed 1.1.2 though I tunes and right as if finishes I get the same error as last time. And says I must restore.

Any one have any ideas?

try going down to 1.0.2 and running oktoprep from there - I've had pretty good results with the units I've been working on.
