Hey all,

I upgraded to 1.1.2 last night and unlocked/jailbroke and the phone works. But the installer is acting up and alot of programs are crashing.

Is there a way to completely redo the process of upgrading to 1.1.2 again after updating?

thanks

Make sure you install BSD Subsystem found under "Syetem" in Installer. If you are using Summerboard, make sure you are turning "Dim Wallpaer" function to OFF.

I have done both of those already. Do I just start by restoring, ...., etc?

Thanks

1) Restore to 1.0.2
2) Jailbreak and install/upgrade Installer
3) Install Oktoprep
4) Upgrade to 1.1.2
5) Jailbreak 1.1.2

you DO NOT need to install anySIM again if you've unlocked the phone previously, as your baseband will remain untouched during this process.

Cheers,

L.

Okay,

I have done the upgrade again.

I still have the same problem. Installer won't clear updates when I update a program. Customize crashes.

Any other suggestions?

Which program? All programs?

L

Posted by: davidbarker223

Yes, for all programs. It tells me I have an update, then I update the program and the update is still shown in the update box.

Posted by: davidbarker223

another thing i noticed is that when I scroll to the bottom of SMB prefs it says

SMBPrefs 3.0
SummerBoard 3.0 (Inactive)

Is this correct?

Posted by: Drakkhen

I've never seent that error before - can you try going back to 1.0.2 and 3.14 and seeing if you get the same problem?

Is there a possible way for me to downgrade back to 1.1.1

I had no problems with that version.

Add i.unlock.no to installer sources then under install/unlocking tools install baseband downgrader after thats finished restore to 1.1.1 and repeat the 1.1.1 jailbreak/unlock process real easy.
