755p Bluetooth causes Frequent Resets?

Has anyone experienced frequent resets with the Treo 755p paired with a bluetooth headset? I have had 3 resets today when either on bluetooth or about to use it.

Is there an update I missed for this, or does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
Bob

No, shouldn't have restarts; sometimes, depending on the headset you're using it might drop the connection & reconnect to the treo to get the best connection possible, but this phone's bluetooth stack is great. You don't Have to take my word for it, but seeing as I work for Sprint Technical Support (and not a regular agent, I'm the Helpdesk that the other agents goto when they can't fix issues) and I have this phone myself I'm very confident.

You've got a rogue program that's causing it to restart. Get palminternals and run it and look for rogue alarm registers. You're using a program that wasn't written for the 755, and although palm0S, it's causing the treo to freak out.

Hope this helps.

That happened to me once. I had to backup, hard reset, and restore before it worked right again. Sometimes little bits of data just get corrupted & start misbehaving :/

Please make sure that the headset is on the compatibility sheet:

Treos are a bit sensitive when not using a compatible bluetooth device.

That list isn't entirely accurate. I've used several other headsets successfully that weren't on it.
