Possible to unlock without WIFI?

Like the title says, is it possible to unlock iphone without using wifi? I'm currently in Hong Kong, and I want to unlock the iphone to use on the "PEOPLES" network, and dont have access to a wifi network. I do however have the usb cable. Thanks for any help.

Yes its possible via a program called "Independance" It will jailbreak, activate, and upload anySIM to the phone. As for the stickys? Not sure which one to try.

You can drive around until you find an unsecured network. You can unlock via WiFi in 10 minutes or so on firmware 1.1.1.

The only independence I could fine for the iphone was for a Mac OS, but I am on Windows
