Bitpim and voyager problem

everytime i try to open bitpim it says "This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I re-installed.
downloaded two different .dll files
downloaded winzip which didnt help
and im basically giving up.i did not have this problem before but i resstored my computer and i think something may have gotten erased.

thoughts or ideas?

I've got a problem where it says an "unknown exception" has occurred (when trying to show the filesystem). I've reinstalled BitPim, redetected my phone. I can see it, it's just acting like it's dropping it's connection to the phone, because for a fraction of a second. I'll actually see some of the file folders on the phone. I have had this work for me before. Just don't understand why it's not now. Anyone have any ideas?
