I used a friends Samsung (Verizon) phone and when I entered a phone number, a paintbrush appeared and 'painted' the numbers on the display. Is this unique to Samsung or Verizon or does a mod exist for SE phones? If so, where is it available?

Interesting. That sounds pretty wicked, though I don't know of a SE mod for it, yet. Is the font different (I think this is possible) or is it an animation?

As far as I know it's not unique to Verizon, none of the VZW phones I had would do this. A friend of mine has the Samsung SCH U-740, and I don't recall ever seeing his phone do that either. So it might be a mod that your friend did to his phone. What model is it?

Sorry, I don't know the model....it was a flip phone with external display

It's a Samsung feature. Every GSM and non branded CDMA Samsung phone has 3 or 4 different fonts that can be used.

**This includes Verizon Samsungs that were used before Verizon starting using their own UI.**

I am not sure if there are any SE themes that utilize any fonts quite like thosre.

i had d600 and bro had d900 both of which i remmeber having tat feature the numbers where multicoloured as well if i remember corectly...

Samsung Sync on ATT does it also. It is mad wicked.

It is unique to Samsung, i believe there isent a mod for S.E you can also get it to write with a pen, etc..
