Is there a way to get rid of the artificial shutter noise when taking a camera phone pic?

same goes for the annoying ATT sound when the phone is turned on and off

well the sound is there for a reason. They don't want to get a lawsuit for people not aware of their pictures being taken. Some manufacturers got it and had to pay so all of them now add the sound to let someone aware their picture was taken.

You can turn it off temporarily at least via the "Silent' profile. Sometimes when i need covert/candid shots i do that. You can edit the registry i think also to turn it off but not sure where that is.

The startup/shutdown sounds are also editable in the registry so search for hat in the tips and tricks thread about the phone on top.

hrmm i only activesync through wireless, so i guess ill have to wait until there is another hack method.
