TyTNII with no GPS software

I know this has been asked, and I'm searching for the answer here and on other forums with no luck. Sorry for the duplicate thread: I purchased a brand new TyTNII that does not have a software pgm on the application CD. Even my manual has only 4.5 pages of instructions (chapter 11, starting on page 188) on using GPS with my phone!? 
How do I proceed to get gps up and running. 
If you know of a thread where this has been answered, please provide the link. Apologies to all for a "spam" thread.

No all phones were shipped with GPS software.
