Safe to downgrade to 1.1.1?

Hi guys,
My 1.1.2 is currently activated with ATT through iTunes.
Is it safe for me to "downgrade" to 1.1.1 ? I don't think I'll have any problems but I just want to double check again before I do something stupid to lock the phone again
