downgrading oob 1.1.2 ERROR CODE 4 itunes??!?!?!?

ok so i just bought oob 1.1.2 to replace my old iphone from a car accident and im just trying to downgrade to 1.1.1 through itune 7.4 and i have the firmware all ready and when i put the phone in upgrade mode and select the 1.1.1 firmware in apple itunes, i get the error:
The ipod "ipod' could not be restored. An unknown error occured (4).
ive tried searching and nothing, and the iphone is stuck on this screen, unless i hold the power and home keys to reboot again...

First you can try starting itunes first, then put iPhone in the dock and hold home and standby until prompted to restore -- restore 1.1.1 again.
If that doesn't work -- use the guide recommended way of getting into DFU mode and restore 1.1.1

SOLUTION! Upgraded to itunes 7.5. it recognized it as "iphone" and not just "ipod" like in 7.4
