hey guys,

im having trouble using my WiFi.

i turned my wifi ON, but when i tried to connect to the internet or MSN Messenger it seems to try and initialize a connection to the internet through GPRS.

i was affraid that i would start getting charged for using GPRS, so i turned off my WiFi BUT couldnt seem to find out how to turn off my GPRS.

also, after all this, i noticed i had a new icon at the top right corner of the screen showing a "3G" and something else similar to that...

i dont believe that icon was there before???

can someone explain to me what im doing wrong pls?

i just want to surf the net and use msn for free through WiFi.

i did some research and found a thread to continue from.
