I am trying to activate a Verizon Motorola 276pp that I got from a friend. I also have a Verizon account and it wouldnt program. A telephone tech told me to power up and within 10 seconds enter the code 7,4,6,6,3,#,menu,menu pull up a screen to change the NAM if I remember correctly. When I did that it came up with a screen that said Enter Subsidy Password. Can anyone tell me how to get this phone up and running? Thanks

you did not reprogram the NAM corrrectly.

He didn't even get into the program NAM menu.

You can program the NAM using Motorola PST if you wish, however, I'd recommend trying 000000 or 123456 as the subsidy password, if not, there are seems out for it. Boot up P2kSeem Editor, under bytes put in e, under seem put 0055 and under record put 1. Now at the right side of the top line, you should be able to see your Subsidy Code displayed.
