Hi guys,

Excuse my lack of knowledge about phones, but I've been looking around for a new device and came across the HTC Touch phones. I guess the Tilt is the only HTC product for AT&T, but will they be getting any Touch phones? Or if not, I've read about people making phones work with certain networks, how would I go about making it work with AT&T?

Please enlighten me, thanks.

all the htc phones work with att its just a matter of puttin ur sim card in the phone

but if your asking will at&t ever sell the touch, i think no, not until they post that it has 850 m. (even though it does) Plus they have the iphone and they dont want to make completion for themselves

So what... I just buy the HTC Touch phone of my choice and stick my current SIM card in there and everything will work fine? Need some guidance!

the htc touch is quadband, even though it's marketed as triband. I've used 4 different ones on att and they all work out of the box. just put your sim card in.

the HTC touch is a quad band GSM phone. it will work on AT&T's network or any network that requires a sim card, what you need to look out for is Sprints offering of the touch, called the vogue i think? it is a CDMA band phone and does not accept sim cards.

i would say any phone with a sim, because iDEN uses sims

So it's simply a matter of getting the phone, and putting the SIM card that's in my SYNC into the TILT? Is there any unlocking (I don't really understand the "locked" phone thing) involved?

Where can I purchase a Touch?

Thanks for the responses.
