I have recently moved back to the states from japan. I have several GSM phone that are 10,000 times better then anything that is offerd here in the states but they are GSM. I am currently stuck with verizon wireless right now, and they are starting to get on the last of my frayed nerves. I HATE At&t, i had it when it was 'M Life', i had it when it turned into cingular, both time they tried to ram a 20' long pole up my butt......

long story short, I wan to know if there is any way possible to program my GSM phones, specificaly my LG Prada, to accept a CDMA Signal???

It's basically physically impossible, unless the phone is already designed (in terms of hardware) to support both technologies. Perhaps you might want to look into T-Mobile, or maybe some sort of smaller local GSM carriers and/or even some sort of pre-paid options (aside from maybe giving AT&T a try again since things might be different now, and with you having your phones already you might not really need too much from them beyond the signal, which seems to be fairly good in a lot of places these days).

Cool Cool

the reason why i ask is because to me verizons phones suck azz......
thier service is great, but i think in t he long run the CDMA choice is going to doom them to have boring plain phones. All the cool 'Toy' phones are on the GSM networks..... Looks like i might have to give sprint a try see if my prada will work with them, i really hate at&t.

Sprint is CDMA as well (except for their Nextel part, which is iDEN).
