Hi all,

I got a really good deal on a new, unlocked PEBL from a company online but unfortunately it is "TIM" (some Italian wireless carrier) branded. This is annoying to me only because:

- The icons in the main menu aren't the normal Motorola ones and they aren't pretty

- The TIM crap is in the main menu (TIM Services, etc)

- The TIM logo at startup and shutdown

- There is no AIM

And worst of all:
- ObeyMoto works ONLY when the phone is in Italian. If you switch it to another language, you must record voice tags for each person.

I think what I probably need is a flash or flex (I don't know the difference). I also need information on how to flash/flex/ whatever dirty sounding thing I must do to my phone on an Apple. Like I said, I got a REALLY good deal. Anyone can offer assistance here? Is there a place I can take my phone where they can flash it for me (doubtful)?

Please help.

I just got a Pebl from Tiger direct and have related issues.

Just wanted to mention that to anyone buying an unlocked pebl from Tiger Direct: it will work, but be prepared to learn italian or spend a lot of time fumbling through menus to change language settings to english.

I want to reflash this thing also.

www.modmymoto.com has an Apple modding section, and on that site, you can find SHXFlasher, which might flash your phone on a Mac. Do some research there, and see what you can find.
