i sold my iphone on friday but now im having regrets....can i just go buy another one at apple and reactivate it with the old sim card ?

will they ask what happened to my original one ?
will the person that bought it still be able to use my old one ?

meaning do they track if i sold it then bought another one ?

Wow, that's a lot of seller's remorse. You shouldn't worry about it. Just go and buy another one. All it means is more money in Jobs' pockets.

Actually, you want to wait for MacWorld and see what the new Apple products will be. This iPhone could be quickly and severely outdated.

Well waiting for MacWorld wouldn't be smart if he wants a new one relatively soon. Just because they announce something at MacWorld, doesn't mean it's out the next day. If you wait for anything announced at MacWorld, you could very well be waiting until summer, or later.
