I have a problem .. help is needed !!!

Ok, so I was in the middle of upgrading my iphone from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2, and I pulled the cable out while it was upgrading. So it asked me to do a restore.

When I try and restore, iTunes gives me an error

The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be restored. An unknown error occurred. (1603).

Any ideas?????

I'm pretty sure it'll have to go back to Apple. This is actually a process I've been looking at; you might have blanked the phone, and iTunes is unable to write to it due to the interruption in writing the firmware/bootloader to the phone.

If there's a way around it...I'd like to know. I have some ideas about the 4.6 BL that involve this.

give it back to apple, thats the only thing. my phone had a repair needed.. and apple just did a restore+update on a mac genius's laptop and boom. twas fine.

nevermind, got it to work with a restore after downloading the latest iTunes software.
