Help i dropped my iphone t has a cracks in the upper left hand corner
and i also cant use the bottom half of the screen it wont recognize my fingers but the upper half does...so basically its unusable

Can i take it back to AT&T and get a new one

P.S - it was never activated, so is it possible to return and get a new oe, since i got this about a month ago

taking it back and getting a new one, that's going to be a definite no, but you CAN take it to apple and send it out for repair.

a new screen costs between 125-250 i believe is what we've figured out in other threads.

and i'll just say this before one of the local trolls says it rather rudely, try the search before you post a new thread, as many issues have already been discussed, such as this one...

but either way, i doubt they'll exchange it but you can get it fixed.

i believe there is a site online (if anyone else remembers what it is), that you can buy the screen/parts to repair it yourself for ~70$

good luck though and i hope you can get it fixed okay!!

Well, I wouldn't fix it by myself either, but some people are handy enough to do that.

Me personally, I'm an accident waiting to happen, so I'd send it in, but there's people on here who have done it, so to those, props to them.

PS: i like your sig, is there a way to download themes without jailbreaking the iPhone? thats all i want to be able to do and i'm trying to jailbreak now, but i may chicken out, lol

how much do you think it would cost to get it fixxed? even though they will probabaly just send me a refurbished one

no they won't. you broke the screen, you'll have to pay to get yours fixed. they replace them if it's damage covered under warranty, which accidental is not.

it costs between 125-250

yeap a friend of mine cracked his screen, sucks...
