Several problems with CDMA version of the Touch

I'm not sure if I got a lemon or what the deal is, but this phone seems to have bugs right out of the box. SprintTV, IM (quicklink in the touchflow), and the Sprint Store all were dead shortcuts right out of the box. That was problem one.

The big problem is that the phone seems to randomly go to sleep on its own. I won't receive calls, text messages, e-mail, or anything for that matter until I wake it up. Usually I have to briefly push the power button to turn the screen back on, and then I receive everything since it went to sleep. I've witnessed it a time or two wake itself up and then I receive notifications of missed calls, new text messages, etc...

I'm planning on swapping this out at a sprint store (had it two weeks) tomorrow since I'm hoping its just a lemon. I really do like the phone overall, but obviously these issues aren't acceptable.

Does anyone know if these are common problems, or if there are easy remedies to them?
