Noob questions about Touch

So I just got the Touch as a christmas gift...
They bought it from Rogers without contract or anything, so I'm wondering:
Can I use this with fido if I unlock it?
Can I unlock it myself? How?
Will the WiFi work if I'm not with Rogers?

Wifi doesn't matter, because its built into the phone. Enable it, and you can use it at a hotspot. I believe you can use Rogers phones with Fido sim cards.

You will have to get it unlocked to use on fido, I think there is the info for doing it yourself on xda-developers but it seems to be down right now

Some HTC phones previously have been able to accept Fido SIMs. Check it out first.
