if I go to media net and download AIM (OZ) to my 8310
after when I sign in through AIM instead of media net
does that use my BB Connect or Txt Msgg?

Following up on his question, why do people prefer JiveTalk over this (Mobile IM)? I know Jive uses only data instead of per message charging, I suppose that could be why.. Seconding clifford's question though, if you have an Unlimited data plan (Internet + text), would you incur any charges from using Mobile IM for AIM?

Which client are you using and where can I download it? I thought ramble was the preferred Aim client for blackberry's. If there are any other ones(even if they cost), please let me know.

So...aol client uses txt msg and not data. But Jive uses data to send IMs?

Yes, Jive uses data. Jivetalk is an excellent program and well worth the price, in my opinion. It's the only BB software I've ever bought.

so does aol's aim client use only sms or can it use only data also?
