K612 Switch_Back USB Cable Problem

I know there are a ton of posts on here about the dreaded USB cable issue w/ the Switch_Back but after reading all of them I am still not solving anything!!!

1) I purchased a non-OEM USB data cable online for the K612 / K612B / Strobe / Switch_Back and like 99.9% of sellers they didn't include any drivers, nor did they include anywhere to locate them.

2) Kyocera Wireless.com website lists TWO different drivers for my phone, and do not know which one to use. They are listing TXDTA10143 and TXDTA10146.

3) I have tried seraching Yahoo and other search engines for a driver and this forum website keeps pulling up, so.... thats why I am posting this!

Can ANYONE please let me know how the hell I can get this to work with this phone? I had a Cyclops in the past and had no problems downloading/installing the drivers and stuff for it so it shouldn't be that hard for this one right?

PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks!

Sorry about the late response, I have been doing my history fair project.

So you are trying to get Mobile Phonetools to read your Switch_Back? If that is the case, it cannot be done with any drivers, but with one of 2 free programs: BitPim (recommended) & EasyCDMA. This is because the Switch_Back isn't supported by Mobile Phonetools, yet I think the Cyclops is.

If you want more info, just P.M. me.

Its okay, no problem...

I am trying to locate the driver for my phone. The two listed above are what pulls up on their website. I tried both, could not get them to work.... Am using BitPim too...

Just sent you a PM

I'm not 100% sure but I think you need TXMST10046 it's listed for the K612 and k612b and that is what I have.

Thats what I tried too.... and my computer was still having trouble tagging that driver to be a USB and wireless modem.
