New Treo 750 with G signal

Just got a Treo 750 for Christmas. I got it all activated and everything, and for my signal it is saying G on the top of the Display. This is actually my wife's phone, I have a Blackjack. We have Edge signal in our area, so I am thinking that there is a setting off. Anybody know where I can look on the phone to change this.

its the way the treos wm5 shows the data. if your blackjack shows e then your treo is getting edge as well, some window phone dont have a e icon for edge just a g for edge and gprs, try upgrading your treo to windows mobile 6 that problem will be fixed.

I assume your on AT&T because you didn't mention carrier. T-Mobile will not have 3G or display a U with these phones.
