Hi everyone,

This is my first post. I'm itching for a new phone, and just fell in love with the 804SH. From what I understand, it has been unlocked. Is this right? If so, does anyone know whether it's realistic for me to find one online? (I've searched ebay and nothing came up).

Any input would be appreciated.

I don't think it has been unlocked yet. I'm not counting beta unlocks and what not, since:
1) they are hard to find someone who will do it.
2) unreliable.

804sh are hard to find

it has never been unlocked afaik, it has the same locking mechanism as the 904sh

NiMaDiFoB has one, u can PM him if you want pictures

He's using his on roaming, isn't he? His girlfriend brought it back for him or something.

And Akira is right, they are a lot harder to find than the 904SH... (which themselves, are starting to become slightly harder to find)

i think so, and hes the only one with a 804sh on hofo

Oh, I didn't realize it still wasn't unlocked. I must have read wrong. Thank you for the replies, though! I'll keep looking at what's out there...

You probably won't see this unless you are still watching this thread, but the 804sh is confirmed working with a pss sim or hypercard (hypersim). you can use as a phone and sms may work for you.

Hey-- thanks for the update

I was so hungry for a new phone that I just went ahead and got a different one... But I'll keep my eyes open for any developments (watching that thread, too!).

A new or near new 904 is like $300 and a new 705sh is 250.

hmm where is the best place to get the 904sh or 705 from that the prices arent jacked up so much, since I've decided to let my friend get my 2006 white instead.

I have a friend in JP who gets me whatever I order. I think I must've bought 20 phones in the last 2 years from him.
