ive had this phone for nearly 30 days, and im considering returning it.

I dont load my phone with software, i only have the free pack moto included, MS live, and google maps.

Recently the phone started doing random reboots.
I decided to remove the moto pack software, and after i took off Zagat, the phone reverted to an odd home screen.

Now i have large icons, odd short cuts, different themes, etc. Mind you, i never touched those settings. I rebooted the phone and its the same.

When I get into the settings to check on the shortcuts, they are still listed as showing small icons, and my shortcuts are correct as well. But when I go back to the home screen, the display doesnt match my settings. Even when i go back to the phone settings, and change it to what I want, the home page wont reflect the changes.

Weird. and disappointing. All my other settings are fine, email, internet, contacts, etc

am i left with doing a hard reset? Id hate to redo everything though

I sympathize with you. While mine is not so unstable, it is a very slow system that locks up frequently, especially when streaming video, but even when doing other net-related apps. Not sure if this is WM 6 of the phone itself. So I do think it is a buggy phone that at least has enough strengths to make it worth it for me. I'd have more problems with your frequent reboots than my frequent "kill all"s.

I was having random reboot and frequent drop calls on my 1st one. I exchanged it and am no longer experiencing these issues.

I have not experienced any random reboots (unlike the Palms) and find the OS is fast and stable.
