a pdf viewer or the ability to do so with a software upgrade of some sort. 3 mega pix. expandable memory, edge and of course quad band. any suggestions. never purchased a SE before but need a backup.

Not sure there is anything in the SE pipeline that meets your requirements. The P1 falls short in that there is no EDGE support and its not quadband. It does have everything else you seek.
