basically, because my K850 displays the coloured wap homepage for Rogerrs this means that Rogers backend recognizes the IMEI of the K850 and provides the appropriate homepage for it...

this is also the indicator of an immenent launch within the next few months, but not a guarantee.

anyway, just waanted to share

Hmmm. I am not used to that. AT&T displays the same homepage no matter what handset you use.
But if the rumors that it's coming to AT&T are true, then I see no reason why it shouldn't be coming to Rogers as well.

Rogers need more vision phones, so far the ones they have aren't really appealing to the SE people and Nokia's. If they want people or close to a majority to use video calling. I think telus' slogan fits rogers more ;P

Very nice homepage. Looks MUCH better and worlds apart from what I see on the K790a. That home page that your K850i displays makes me actually want to see its content.

Treatz, I can't download the TV/Video applications from the Rogers homepage for my K850i can I? I tried once and it gave me an error wondering if you had any luck with your k850i.

K850 hasn't launched yet, that's probably why..

Tempted to get it, I really like the size of my W580i.

Fair enough Treatz, I wonder if I will be able to download it on my unbranded one, or if they will find a way to totally block it.

A wireless wave employee told me yesterday that a new SE 5 megapixel phone is confirmed for Rogers for February , but didn't know an exact date.
