Turn Sync Off w/o Deleting Stuff?

I just got my dash this weekend and wanted to get my contacts and calendar and such on it right away so I copied my .pst file from work onto my computer here at home.

I synced fine but now I'd like to uncheck the contacts and calendar boxes in active sync on my HOME computer so that nothing syncs from here. I ONLY want to sync from my work computer which is where I make all my changes anyway.

When I goto uncheck the box though for contacts, activesync tells me that doing so will delete all of my contacts from my phone!!!

How can I set activesync to not sync anything?

I'd just not run active sync... but I need it to access the files on the phone from my computer right?

Any help much appreciated.
