Hey, i have a nokia 6265i and i was wondering if i can use bluetooth to unlock it instead of a ca-53
would this work?

^ Hi, welcome to HoFo! First, I've edited your subject line a little to describe better to all HoFoers. Just put in a word "Bluetooth" or help won't give everyone the best idea of your questions. So to help yourself, try to use something more-to-the-point, CLEAR description instead.

In CDMA, the "unlocking" is different from GSM! Basically, it refers to obtaining the SPC and X-TKSL codes, loading any PRL you wanna use. But the ultimate problem w/ CDMA phone even if it's been unlocked, some providers won't offer help or even allow you to activate it w/ their networks. This isn't GSM where all phones conform to same set of criteria to work on almost all GSM providers as long as it's capable to operate on the freq available and free from all restrictions.

So if you're referring Mods or hacks be done w/ your 6265i, it depends on what kind of mods or hacks you wanna do. Some of those must use proprietary programs w/ data cable. Bluetooth won't do.
