what colour do you want?

Posted by: johnmoon

theres one on ebay, blue colour only abour 360US inc shipping
I want one in white...

Posted by: shungo

yahoo japan and get someone to send it over

Posted by: Junglizt1210

There is one on eBay at the moment.

Posted by: xplicitpin0i

but even if you do get it working with a pss card you'll only be able to use it for calling and texting, newer sharp phones require reprov before going into media camera and so on so yeah pretty lame heres a demonstration: http://youtube.com/watch?v=5xsWc1SEjTs&feature=related

Posted by: alan2000

i am looking for black.
yeah i know the camera portion is not working with PSS SIM.

Posted by: penpower

the ebay seller kinda jacked up the price over night (for over $100 more). anyway, wait until supply become more steadily, no rush for 920sh yet

Posted by: dliao

Doesn't mean to jack the thread, but I am curious is it confirmed that the new PSS Sim or Hyper card works with the 920sh? At least calling/receiving/sms? Does it even has GSM band built in? Looking at SB web site it only says "GSM" didn't even mention the bands frequency.

Posted by: xplicitpin0i

its triband, but sms is something i'm not sure of i've heard it doesnt work..

I really hope that a workaround for reprovisioning is discovered for the 920SH... Pretty much everything you'd want the 920SH for doesn't work without the Softbank USIM.

I wonder if I used my wife's active voda sim with pss sim to do the repro, then swapped out to the fido sim... technically the phone should still think its the same sim... I will try it with my 904 and then post.

I was browsing a Chinese forum and noticed this thread. Apparently some scammer's going around claiming to have a hardware unlock for the 920SH. It's "unlocked" all right... (click the links on that page to see the pictures of how it was pulled off)

Is that a briefcase icon left to the signal bars?
If so, then it's roaming using Softbank USIM.
Nice try... hahaha...

You can get the briefcase icon to appear even using PSS-Sim. A reboot of the phone fixes that. I can't remember how you get the briefcase icon to pop up, but you CAN get the briefcase icon when using PSS-Sim.

Posted by: takumi906

i get briefcase icon on my 902T when using AT&T sim

Posted by: aw614

you are in la right? I wonder if its b/c of the whole att/tmobile roaming agreement

Posted by: dav34

Hmmm... isn't that an indicator if you're roaming?
Ah well... I roam anyway...

Posted by: takumi906

yeah im in LA county. the thing is, when im using the T-mobile sim the briefcase isnt there iirc

Posted by: alan2000

the site that someone post earlier basically says it's using a Softbank SIM on top of a PSS SIM?!? (dont' really understand this part)

PS: you can trick the phone to play MP4. (mp3 like quality music) this is from another thread in the same forum mobile01

Posted by: yangj08

Nope, just a plain (active) Softbank SIM. No wonder everything worked.

Posted by: alan2000

Anyone who PMed me about the silver 920sh
I figured that it's actually metal gold. (even though it looks very silver to me)
=P

Sorry about the color confusion.
It's availible for anyone to grab
