Very cool program, I love the UI but I can't select anything with my Q, it seems to be a common problem as it's mentioned in the PointUI forums.

Perhaps it's made only for Professional (touch-screen) devices only?

according to the forums its made for touch and non touch.
but remember its still new and loads to be done to it.

The folks at PointUI just released an update. Still no fixes for those of us with non-touchscreen devices but some bug fixes for the rest of you. It's a really cool interface, I suggest giving it a look.

Wirelessly posted (SAMSUNG-SGH-I617/1.0 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.6) UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

I downloaded and installed the latest version on my BJ2. I got the program to start once but could not get it to respond to any selection commands. It eventually crashed. I restarted the phone and PointUI did not start. I ended up just uninstalling it. Hopefully it will become more stable as development continues.

It's not fully functional yet on non-touchscreen devices. They should be updating it soon for BJ's and Q's.

They got an update, and I DL it. Most of the menus are accessible, but still.. when you restart it, you have to manually turn it back on. ALSO, When you lock your phone via the Point UI program, there is no way to unlock it. Kinda sucks. Have to press the end button, (red phone looking thing) And go into the task manager, and end the task. Works great on the touch screen phones tho!

Here's the temporary fix for us non-touchscreen folks. It uses the spacebar instead of the action button or the middle button on the d-pad but its pretty cool nevertheless.

I like this UI, it works great on my 8125. But there is one problem on my phone, when PointUI is running my memory goes down to 11-12mb available and if run any games or programs that use a lot of memory it runs really slow. Is there anything I can do to improve the memory?

Thank you.

I would ask your question over at the PointUI forums, your question has probably already been answered.
