Screw my Jailbroken iPhone.... I actually want 1.1.3... how to proceed?

Ok... I have had a 1.1.2 OTB iPhone for a few weeks... activated thru iTunes on AT&T Gophone PYP. I almost immediately jailbroke it afterward. The 3rd party apps are OK... but I really can't say that I NEED them... I just wanted my phone to look cooler than a coworker's iPhone (who happens to have a 1.0.2, BTW!!)

Anyway... I think I would rather have the 1.1.3 features... so... how do I proceed? Do I just let iTunes do the update? Should I uninstall all of my apps via Installer.app first? Will the update remove these items from the memory or just block access to them? Is there some sort of "un-jailbreak" procees I should do or just let the 1.1.3 update just rip?

1.1.3 is not out yet, your apps will be gone and so will the unlock. you might want to just to a restore when 1.1.3 comes out.

First step.... Wait for 1.1.3 to be released....

I haven't seen anything in the update I couldn't already do with third party apps. Why upgrade?

I would sell your jailbroken phone. Then just go buy a new phone and you'll pocket a few hundred dollars.

if you read closer it says he has a 1.1.2 OTB and is using it as a go phone, so he doesn't have it unlocked...

Don't forget that Apple fixes bugs with firmware as well as adding features. My 1.1.2 phone works better than the 1.0.0 phone I bought. If the next version of firmware fixes the issue with the iPod sometimes stopping while surfing, I will upgrade even if that is all it does. I like all of the stuff that you can do with a jailbroken phone, but none of them are "must haves" for me.

shouldn't he restore factory settings first? I thought of you update a jailbroken iPhone it would be a brick? I'm new to apple so idk, I just heard someone say the best thing to do before updating a hack iPhone is restore factory settings

Correct me if wrong, but I heard, brick is only for phones that've been unlocked.
If it's just jailbroken, you should be fine.
This is what I've heard but does anyone knows the real answer?
