Thanks jeebjp, I think I will keep waiting until they settle that part with the reprovisioning SMS message.

But from what I see, it doesn't seem to be something that will be very difficult to recreate if someone has an SMS shortcode with a system that sends SMS that they just have to create a custom SMS structure with all the WAP settings we need in order to use GPRS.

It's that easy...

Posted by: Yttrasil

Just from my point of view, I don't think it works that way... when you set up a mail account on your phone in Japan you connect to the browser and the softbank portal put loads of stuff in and then the info or something is directly downloaded into the phone setting your email adress and so on. So it should be the same if you wanted to change the mms and gprs settings on it, but I guess the browser just won't allow you to do that.

Therefore I think it's impossible to change it via an sms or mail directly into your phone, if anything lure the phone you connect to the softbank portal and so on which isn't... that easy

Yea, in a sense you are right, otherwise anybody could send invasive SMS'es to change anybodies settings they wish.

But then again, it would prompt you first if you want to apply... but still invasive.

Questions:
i) On the PSS SIM website, it doesn't say that it'll work for 920SH.. anyone sure it'll work?
ii) If the PSS SIM works for 920SH, what GSM frequency will the phone be able to receive?

Posted by: KBoardBox

i) People have tried it before and it works.
ii) 900, 1800, 1900 Mhz.

Posted by: AL9999

Softbank email address setting is different to the phone reprovisioning. Your email address is actually set on the server side and is associated to messages sent by your phone once they've made it to the server. The phone itself doesn't actually know what your email address is internally. That's why you connect to a website to set your email address, rather than just programming the phone with it yourself.

While the newer Softbank Sharps seem to now get an SMS telling them what the email address is so you can attach it to your owner information contact tag, it has nothing to do with your message sending; you can ignore the SMS and everything still works.

Thanks a gajillion =)

I'm gonna get one soon!

I'd like to ask something about this PSS SIM:

Has anybody figured out how they make it work? I'm guessing, they take this "blank" PSS and load it with the Softbank USIM data, which serves as a disguise for the SIM you'd like to use with your 904sh. For iphone, they load it with the iphone definitions.
The question is, do they take the USIM info from an original USIM (I have one - it came with my 904sh)?
Thing is, 1. this PSS SIM is too expensive (at least for me) and 2. Postage to my country would cost a fortune. That's why I am looking for an alternative solution. We have here "blank" PSS SIM (or Turbo SIM) which cost about 40 euros. I am thinking of just loading the USIM info into it and trying it (if I am guessing right how it works). But I need some more details. And, I can't really be a competition to the PSS SIM being sold in Hing Kong and elsewhere, since my country (Bulgaria) is soooooooo far away, it would cost people the same as buy what you have there.

I will really appreciate some help! Thanks in advance!

i wonder if I can just by the iphone one take that little chip and resolder it on...hmm

According to PSS SIM's official website, they said that once the PSS SIM is stuck on your SIM, it cannot be reused. Also, the iPhone PSS SIM contains different data than the one Sharp possesses, so it won't work (also said that in their website).

So basically you will need Sharp's PSS SIM in order to work.

Posted by: aw614

well I have a pss, and looking at it and comparing from pics of the iphone one, the solder points are on the same exact spot...

the whole thing is the same too, so idk

Posted by: Eyies

Likely the microcontroller is different.. all else should be the same.

If you used the tape that the PSS SIM came with to stick your SIM on, it's not coming off, at least not without damaging something. That being said, if whatever phone you want to use is fully unlocked (e.g. software-unlocked iPhone), then it'll still work like normal...just watch out for the thicker SIM you now have.

Posted by: aw614

it never worked on my unlocked phones...with the pss still on

Posted by: KBoardBox

Damn, serious? Uh oh...

Posted by: Eyies

^ Haha uh oh.. did you stick it on? It shouldn't work just thinking about it intuitively.. you're trying to convince your phone that it's a japanese USIM =|

edit: could you just use a SIM cloner to make an extra Sim backup? Does it just copy phonebook data, or network related information as well?

Posted by: aw614

well I tried it on both an unlocked 904t, 903sh 6230 and z800i. All had insert sim card, nokia had sim card rejected. 904t it went in ok, but could not connect.

I don't have it yet, and I don't intend to 3M-tape it on...scotch tape all the way...hahah

Extra SIM backup? I could I suppose, if I knew how. Sounds devious.

If it says "insert SIM card" that means it can't tell there's a SIM card in there. Try inserting the card again. "SIM card rejected", on the other hand...

Posted by: aw614

it somehow does tell, i've tested it out multiple times, the 903sh and 904t takes longer to boot up also

And it's perfectly legal lol.

edit2: Seems we're not allowed to discuss it on these boards.. so lets not =p

Posted by: riel

Argh I need to order one too.. Eyies, order together, save on shipping?

Posted by: johnmoon

Eyies: Yeah I order mine from PSS
Riel: Theres no shipping charges its already included in 125US

Posted by: riel

Good point. =)

Posted by: Eyies

^ Lol I was about to say.. I swear shipping is included.

edit: john how long since you ordered?

Posted by: johnmoon

Eyies: I ordered mine Jan 16th and shipped on 22ND (23RD in Taiwan)
took long time, hope it was temporary shortage if not... you know

Posted by: cheeseus

OK, no one managed to answer my previous question, but anyway, I have another one - not as difficult I reckon:
-- My 904sh is a Vodafone KK one. Does it make any difference if it is a Softbank 904sh?

No idea about your first question. I know nothing about SIM copying.

Vodafone and Softbank 904SH - there's no difference. Only packaging and very little in software.

Ordered mine yesterday and it still says "check for the payment" next to status.

Not sure what that means...

keypad and literature too

Ok. That would mean the PSS will work for either.
And will the annoying "Do you want to get the latest provisioning and update?" go away?

And the quote above - it took between 16 and 23 of January to ship from where? Taiwan to the UK?

Posted by: Eyies

^ yes there is no reprovisioning message.

Posted by: mcg

Hmm, there's a white 904SH on ebay. I might try to win that and purchase a Next SIM and see how it goes.... that is... if I can muster up the money.

Posted by: Eyies

^ It's probably not gonna be cheap.. at all =x

Posted by: martindesu

It's going to be wayyyyy expensive.

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

>_> those people on ebay should wait till the last minute lol......at least it'll keep the cost down. Unless some of you are bidding for the hell of it knowing that you can't win and you just want to make the winner waste money lol by jacking up the prices with bids >_> (in that case your evil)

Posted by: KBoardBox

haha eBay sniping is the best way to go.

Posted by: hibiki0104

if using this pss sim from here www.pss-sim.com , can use all the function in sharp 904sh? or just call n sms only?

Posted by: Eyies

All functions.

Difference is cosmetic. Both can be unlocked using PSS-SIM or HyperSIM.

You bet dude.

It'll do every phone in Japan (from 2004 onwards)...

Posted by: KBoardBox

haha awesome, too bad it's so pricy. What about contacts? The fact that you can only search for contacts by reading order rather than the last name/first name REALLY bugs me. Makes the contact list useless almost...

Posted by: marktang

just one more question...the softbank 904sh doesnt come with the usb cable or the headphones right?

I agree, it is a little annoying. I haven't fully worked out how to order my names, but I know I need to change the 'reading name' in my address book.

Uh oh, what's this software you guys are talking about? Is this the one that only works with wires and not BlueTooth?

Posted by: martindesu

As of Version 5.0 it syncs via bluetooth (free upgrade).

However, you should have a USB cable if you're a real SHARP fan.

Posted by: pocky

I'm watching that white one, just to see how much it'll go to.

Martin, I just barcode scanned your SIG. LOL. clever.

Posted by: koh-kun

haha, just read that too. clever indeed

Posted by: KBoardBox

HAHAHA that's awesome, Martin...hahahhaah

Oh yeah, got my PSS SIM and my 904 works perfectly on Rogers Wireless here in Canada!

Pics of the 904SH here:
http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...12#post10584712

Pics of the 920SH:

Will NOT fit in with the 3M tape's backing and scotch tape.

Fits perfectly without all that junk.

Didn't work at first, detected the SIM but nada. Figured it out after a little while, the phone HAS to be on "online mode" first, i.e. not in "offline mode".

Voila!

Caller ID (number only).

Had the roaming icon (the briefcase) at first, but then a reboot made it disappear. The phone still will not show the operator's name in standby (see pic below), but oh well, it works.

Caller ID, this time with a name.

Whole shebang still works in my software-unlocked 1.1.1 iPhone (does NOT work in my 903SH though...):

Posted by: johnmoon

Kboard: wow nice pictures man, my pss did not come today
not sure since it was released customs last friday... will come tomorrow

got only one 904sh for test at this moment though

Posted by: markol

NICE!
CONGRATS!!

as a side note: can you get into the settings and stuff even with the 920sh didn't recognize your sim+pss to change to "online" mode? .. probbaly a stupid question.. T.T

Posted by: KBoardBox

lol could you edit out the quote? It's like...huge dude. Huuuuuuuge... XD

Good question, should've mentioned it lol I used a cancelled Vodafone KK USIM I got eons ago for my 904 to get into the settings.

Uh oh what about for the 920SH? Did you have to switch to online mode using a Voda Sim too?

Gonna wait after cny and a few more weeks before i try on 904

If you've never used it before, it's already in online mode.

Yup, but only because I turned it to offline mode, to save power while I fooled around with it before I got my PSS SIM.

Doesn't detect it, and I'm afraid to move it around for fear of breaking something, but it works in my iPhone.

Posted by: AL9999

It won't display the operator name? If you want it to you know you have to turn the display on from display settings right? Main Menu -> Settings -> Display Settings -> Standby Display -> Show Operator Name.

Posted by: KBoardBox

It IS on. I tried to turn it off then on and it still won't do it lol

Add distinctive lower case letters for sorting in front of the reading name automatically assigned. If you are transfering from a SIM list and the reading is blank, just key in the first part of the name in lower case.

111

Posted by: martindesu

I'll have to look into that. I think just adding 'reading' seems to put names in a better order - at least the 日本語の名前だよ。

Posted by: Maikurukun

yes.. use reading names.. its how it sorts the names.
the actual name display will be the first and last name.
infact.. skip last name.. just type the full name in first name.. because it also sorts by last name first

I also think that if u import from 903SH backup file from any firmware.. it would be the best way.

Posted by: markol

something just hit me...

all i've been seeing are people using pss-sims with their 904sh/920sh on rogers/fido.. but haven't really seen anyone using a hypersim...

it should be the same though right?... so it shouldn't haev any problems??

cuz i just ordered a 920 with a hypersim...

I've heard people claim HyperSIM is better than PSS-SIM, for example an eBay seller. Did you buy yours from that guy who is selling a 920SH along with a HyperSIM?

i got it direct from a store in hk... but yea, it was bundled with a hypersim

Posted by: martindesu

It will probably work - let us know.

How can one be "better" than the other? The PSS sim worked just fine for me... I can't see how it could be better except for allowing WAP.

take it in and out of the 705p way too many times that it damaged it before I shaved the sim card down. By the time I shaved the sim card down, it was working, but then after taking it off again, I was getting rebooting errors to sim mep on it.

I call bollocks on this. hahahah

So, how do I add Reading Names? I exported all my contacts from Mac Address Book to a single vCard file, opened it up in a text editor and changed all the references to "Version 3.0" to "Version 2.1", dumped it into the Contacts.bck folder and restored it to my 904. So yay, I have everything, but does this mean I have to go through 190 contacts and manually add Reading Order so I can sort through all this?!?!!?!?

Posted by: martindesu

KBoardBox:

Add a phonetic first & last name...

Posted by: KBoardBox

I'll check that out when I get home, thanks! But does it do it automatically for all of my contacts....or just one at a time?

Posted by: martindesu

No dude. You have to manually add a phonetic first/last name. If it just used the written name, it wouldn't be phonetic, would it?

Posted by: KBoardBox

But I just want to search by actual written name lol....ahhh so much work. And when it syncs back via Plaxo to my Outlook on my laptop it's all gonna be gone...ahhh

Ah ok. Well I can't help more than that then, I guess the PSS SIM is interfering with the operator name display; maybe the phone is trying to read data from the SIM about the operator's name and jamming at that point. Who knows...

But it works on the 904, oh well.

Mine did not come today so is my 920SH
Again my dumb *** post guy left me a slip for 705SH even though I was home

gotta wait another 8hrs again here

Posted by: riel

Oh that's too bad =/ Where are you from? I've never heard of such a postman haha.. just leaving the card at the door without ringing first..

Posted by: White Comet

yea, it happens to me too...canada post is getting lazy when delivering packages to the door. They don't even knock/ring, but leave a slip at the door

Posted by: mcg

At least they aren't leaving our packages on the front step.

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

Actually -_- the postman did leave the package on my door step awhile back. I ordered something online and they just left it there on the door step o.o

It was just a case so it wouldn't have been that bad if it was stolen but still....talk about being incompetent and irresponsible >_<

Well hopefully when my uncle sends my 904sh over I'll be home to pick it up. Then theres the problem of the pss >_> crap

Posted by: KBoardBox

One time they left a package under my WELCOME MAT....if I didn't see it while walking up to the door I would've crushed one of my PHONES. Ridiculous!

Posted by: mcg

That's why I request packages to be sent to me with SIGNATURE required, and the same goes when I send out stuff too. That way, they're forced to leave a slip if you aren't home... or... they get lazy, lol

i got mine from yahoo japan using a third party service still ended up being cheaper than buying a new one on ebay by over 100-300 dollars cheaper

Posted by: Yttrasil

Sweet congratz on the phone how much extra did you have to pay for charge and transport if I may ask, would also be nice to know what 3rd party you used?

How does the screen compare to the 904sh you think except it's widescreen? Can you like have same picture on both and make a photo comparison would be really interesting to see how they both compare. =) Have seen it but not with the same picture and so on!

I got mine on eBay about a week after the PSS-SIM for Sharp phones was announced. It was $370 when I got it.

I need to get a 920 and try my pss sim with my wife's active sim.. do the repro and put my pss on my fido sim and see if that would work.

Just think, I could be the only loser with a fully functioning 920.

If you're ever in Vancouver, let me know! I'll gladly let you repro my 920

Posted by: inspiring_k

No it does not work... thats what I did too. I told the seller to do the repro for me and he did it and used the phone to take a picture too. But yeah you need to do the repro with the sim card your actually gonna use in order to get all the functions working.

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

>_< Too bad when I finally get my 904sh, I'll be unable to use my 903sh (at least I can still use my n95 o.o) Going to have to stick with the scotch tape method but then -_- I think it'll break if I use that method lol or at least have the thing get jammed into the sim slot >_>;; I really doubt if I asked fido for a spare sim card they'd sell me one lol >_> (and not kill the one I'm currently using) >_>
dilemma is to ignore my 903sh so the pss sim works without me having to scotch tape it....or risk damaging it so I can swamp phones.......sigh

Posted by: aw614

I am just going to just put this prepaid sim card into my 904sh, since its only 40 dollars a year to keep that account active.

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

lol >_> the auction on ebay for the white 904sh ended with 550 dollars XD >_> DAMN THATS EXPENSIVE O_O

EDIT: damn >_> I just got a call from my uncle....he got me a purple/violet 904sh instead of the white one........

Sorry pocky I've betrayed your beliefs of pure white only phones! T_T!
lol XD

ugh -_- they're out of pss sims -_- hopefully when my violet 904sh reaches here they restock or something.....>_> and I don't trust the hypersim since no one's confirmed it to be working for fido like the pss sim

Posted by: mcg

Some people just have way too much money on their hands...

Posted by: White Comet

Yea, i'm kind of skeptical for Hypersims as well, don't know if they'll work with Fido...and yes, I knew the price for that White one will shoot out the roof. The price went up by more than $100 in the last 5 minutes. LOL Damn that's expensive...

Yeah the white 904SH just skyrocketed!!! pocky should sell his just because!

Nooo!! Pure White is absolute! Fail!

i will find out if the hypersim works with rogers/fido soon..

but i've heard ppl confirm it works.. and that it's better than pss-sim for some reason...

Posted by: White Comet

it seems that hypersim would be easier since I don't need to punch a hole into my sim. I think it just sticks onto your original sim...i think

Posted by: MyLoveForTofu

Nice! looking forward to your results =D I'm still waiting for my 904sh >_<
oh could you also stick the sim card + hypersim into an unlocked phone like a 903sh and see if it reads because the pss sim won't allow it to read.....thus the scotch tape method >_>;;

It just sticks on, but it's better to cut a hole in it. It looks exactly like my PSS SIM. One of the local people here with a 920 has a HyperSIM and he didn't cut a hole and it fits in the 920, but the battery cover bulges out....not good for it methinks.

is it like this one?
http://hk.f1.page.auctions.yahoo.co...tion/1115185537
I just bought one I guess I am going to have a bigger cut now on my sim

Posted by: KBoardBox

That one looks sketchy, like a fake. Real ones use the iNEX HS128 chip:

I have the same chip on my PSS SIM.

Ref: http://www.hyper-card.com/home/english/main.htm

Posted by: takumi906

man for a little over 40 bux i wouldnt mind paying for a hypersim to try.

Posted by: White Comet

I'd also like to see results

When you punch a hole into your sim, would you still be able to use the sim on other phones? Lets say a SE K850i or other mainstream N/A phone. The part where we punch a hole in is the plastic right? Not the part where the chip is?

If you were to removed the PSS sim from your original sim, would the original sim still be usable?

Posted by: aw614

I am using my sim that is cut up on my 903sh without a problem without a sim hack actually makes it easier to take out now lol

Posted by: White Comet

Well yea, cuz 1 Sim is thinner than 1 sim + PSS sim

As long as the cut sim can still be used without any problems, I don't really care then. But I don't know if the PSS can still be stuck back on once removed. lol

I know this isn't the Samsung forum, but heck, we're talking about Softbank models in here anyway. The Softbank 920SC - do any of you have it? It looks quite amazing with its 5mp cam and flash, but I am not sure if such features are locked like the Sharp 920SH.

All of these and more are answered on the PSS SIM site.

Yes, it is still useable - and he meant that cutting a circle out makes it easier to get out - not vs PSS + SIM.

How to Automatically Set Reading Order

There is likely a better way to do all of this, but this is relatively painless, and very much automatic. Let me know if there's a method that involves less hassle! I've tested this on my 904 and it works like a charm.

1) To start, all my contacts are in the Mac address book. I used Plaxo to sync my address books across my

computers and all that, but the Mac one is nice as I can select all the contacts together and export it as one

single vCard file. You absolutely need a file in that format. Export the file and get it to a Windows

computer.

2) Get Notepad++, do a full install. Get NoteTab Lite, install it (for some reason the vCard file opens funny in

Notepad++...dunno why).

3) Open up Notepad++, then open up the vCard file in NoteTab Lite. Copy and paste the whole text from NoteTab

Lite into Notepad++. You can close NoteTab Lite if you like.

4) Do a Find and Replace (Ctrl+H) and search for "VERSION:3.0" and replace it with "VERSION:2.1". Our Sharps

aren't that advanced yet.

5) Next, do an advanced Find and Replace (Ctrl+R), make sure only the "Regular Expr" and "Wrap" checkboxes are

checked, and type the following in the boxes:

Find (top box):
FN.*) (.*)

Replace (bottom box):
FN:\1 \2
SOUND;X-IRMC-N;CHARSET=SHIFT_JIS:\2 \1;;;;

This takes the data from the "full name" line and adds a reading name line using that data. I have it sorted so

it's by last name (i.e. I type in the last name to search).

6) Save the file.

7) Copy the file into your PRIVATE\VODAFONE\Utility\Contacts\Contacts.BCK on your miniSD.

8) Put the card back in the 904 and go to Menu>>Settings>>Connectivity>>Memory Card>>Backup/Restore.

9) Choose Restore and enter in the handset code (9999 if you haven't changed it). Choose yes when it tells you

that calling won't be available while it works.

10) Select Phone Book, and choose the file to import from. Up to you whether you want to delete your phone data,

but it really doesn't make sense if you don't, eh?

11) Let it finish copying, then enjoy your newly sorted contact list!

I was wondering whether we should try to make a general FAQ for all new phones that are unlocked where we try to answer all these common questions and that solution posted up there at that since lots of people have had questions and the threads being used are just growing and growing or whether I should just edit my first post and try to add some more info to it though I really don't know what would be usable.

What do you guys think?

I'm going to collect the info eventually and put it on a site, but you can start with editing your first post or something. Will definitely make it easier for people, and we won't keep getting people asking questions that have been answered multiple times lol

thanks for the info. it worked!

Is it just me, or is this guy selling phones for hella cheap?

http://search.ebay.ca/_W0QQsassZgluehwein74

Posted by: yangj08

That's considered cheap?

Posted by: gchristy

Hi, i'm too lazy to search so just gonna ask here. With the PSS/Hyper sim, does the 904SH lose any major functions or features, or does it retain all of them?

Posted by: mcg

I was referring to the 920SC... pretty cheap for $350 if you ask me.

It's been said a thousand times here....the only thing that you can't use is aGPS and GPRS. Everything else is good to go.

Saying things like that in any forum is sure to put you in all the forum experts' bad books.

thanks for the helpful reply...unlike some people :P

Posted by: KBoardBox

Naw, the other replies are helpful too....doesn't help to get yourself banned or something.

On that note, some people say that aGPS works when you're outside, but it's utterly useless as you only get the coordinates and there's no way to use the software for mapping. That only works in Japan.

Posted by: KBoardBox

Wow, triple-posting may be a one-way ticket to a ban....tread carefully.

I really like your last idea though, although it's kinda useless for us here haha

I have a good feeling on full unlock 920sh hyper / pss sim gotta come out soon

tried voda sim on 920SC and it restrict all features like 920SH
wasnt able to go into mp3 or camera at all but with PSS, it unlocks all

since they (not sure who really came up with it first) did it on 904SH, 705SH, 920SC and many other MIJ phones
they will figure things out quick *fingers crossed*

Posted by: riel

I really like harlekkin's ideas. Wouldn't surprise me if he became the Sharp forum's resident hacker!

If PSS-SIM comes out with a full unlock in a couple weeks, do you think they'd let people send back the older one for a trade? The only came out with the first unlock after New Year's.. such a short period of time.

I use to work for a private owned verizon store and we carried international vodafone sim cards. Hmm...you know, being the curious baby I was, I asked him if Verizon is affiliated or a sister company of Vodafone and not surprisingly he said yes, since my Hunches about it were RIGHT judging VERIZON begins with a V and so does vodafone, and they both have red logos. hahahhahah!

So, my question is, if you have a vodafone phone in my case a 904sh, can you get the Vodafone international SIM card activated for a full use of the phone's capabilities and connect to VERIZON?VODAFONE networks?

I don't know how that really works or if it even, since Verizon are CDMA's, and I did not dare ask why we have Vodafone Sim cards nor try them since Unlocking systems like PSS/Hyper, NEXT SIM, V6, Slimfast(lol), etc...was out of the topics yet, And coz I quit and they moved locations. But I shall go to a corporate store to find out. =]

Posted by: xumdeo

i doubt that would work, just for example 3-CDMA, 3-dualband, 3-WCDMA all have different SIM cards.

3-dualband/wcdma SIM cards did not work in a CDMA phone, the phone cannot register with 3's CDMA network properly

3-dualband and 3-cdma SIM cards did not work on WCDMA-only phones (e.g. the unlocked toshiba 911T/920T)

3-WCDMA SIM cards could work on 2G phones and register with 3-dualband properly

but yeah, try that out with verizon, should be interesting

Posted by: takumi906

verizon sims are only meant to work on the world phones by verizon (AKA: blackberry 8830). i asked this question a pretty long time ago to a verizon rep

Posted by: yangj08

More than that, since Verizon has no GSM-based network in the States you shouldn't be getting any signal with that SIM.

Posted by: rondeltronxcx

oh!!!!? Then I guess that answered my question? I'll still try to go and find out though for a fourth opinion. Not that I'm disbelieving or doubting in you experts out there. You probably got far by asking right? I want to feel like I'm contributing! I think Howard Forums was very helpful with my 904sh inquiries. =]P

Posted by: azn_X

Hey all,

Don't know if u guys already know. But there is a way to actually fully unlock 920sh, just read it off the other forum. U have to do a little reprogramming of the sim hack n u need some info off of a live softbank sim.

Posted by: takumi906

a lot of trouble to unlock cam and media. not many people have access to a live softbank sim.

Posted by: azn_X

yah, that's true. But just wondering ,they now have prepaid sim cards, right. So those will be considered live right?

Posted by: KBoardBox

Yup, those would be liiiiive.

Posted by: azn_X

Hey has anybody been able to get any free unl**k programs to detect 904sh?

Posted by: riseandshine

sorry if I make you an already-response question, but I haven't understand well...
On the 904sh SIM will not work properly?can this be the reason why my 904sh is crasching continuously with an alpha sim?
If I use the japan vodafone card (the one that allows you to use the function of the phone without call e sms) everything go all-right, the phone works ok...
let's see my movie of my 904 with the alpha sim on you tube http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=zo3SGAH-6dY
