I'm an ATT customer. My current data plan is an old data (unlimited data, 1500 MMS/month) plan. To get an iPhone, I have to use a new data plan (unlimited data, 200 MMS/month. Is there a way to activate and then use my old data plan. I currently use a Treo 650.

you cant activate it and try to get that plan.. but im sure you can up the amount of mms/month.. just call AT&T and ask

If you jailbreak and fake activate the iPhone you can then use your existing SIM and retain your current data plan. No need to unlock, ie. this will work with 1.1.2 OTB.

How much are you paying for your current plan? $19.99 + $10.00 (for the 1500 txt)?
If so, It's the same as the iPhone plan. $20 + $10 for 1500 txt

I pay 19.99 for data and messaging (text and pix). It was called media works. Got it in 2001 or 2002, unlimited data (I use 150 MB/month), 1500 text, and 200 mms. Can't find that for 19.99 now.
