Can a built in "ANSWERING MACHINE" be enabled K1M FIRE???

I have a spint sanyo scp-8100(s) & verizon 5 yr. old motorola lg.
They both have in feature in "voice services -- screen call" that is a built in answering machine.
Is there a way to put this feature into a new cricket motorola k1m fire.
